Core Responsibilities:

• Data Preparation and Cleaning - Assist in collecting, cleaning, and transforming data, ensuring accuracy and consistency for analysis.
• Basic Data Analysis and Reporting - Conduct exploratory data analysis, generating reports and visualizations to support senior analysts and decision-makers.
• Dashboard and Visualization Support - Help develop and maintain dashboards and presentations, ensuring key stakeholders have access to relevant insights and trends.
• Documentation and Process Improvement - Maintain clear documentation of data sources, workflows, and methodologies, while identifying opportunities to streamline data processes.
• Collaboration and Learning - Work closely with senior analysts, consultants, subject matter experts, and government clients to understand project requirements, expand technical skills, and contribute to team objectives.
• Apply analytical methods to define and develop solutions to consultative and/or acquisition problems and issues.
• Provide expert-level consulting, analysis, leadership support to complex projects.

• Develop and distribute presentation materials such as PowerPoint presentations, reports, and other visual materials.
• Coach and support team members with task management and completion, as well as professional development.
• Provide program oversight, aligning with the client to ensure the work supports the strategic goals of the team.
• Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
• Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple stakeholders are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
• Communicate with leadership to keep the project aligned with their goals
• Perform quality control and quality assurance on projects

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with Joint and Naval Medical Operations supporting major headquarters staff.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience providing support in key advisory positions for Flag and senior leaders developing strategic policy.
• Experience in developing organizational realignment plans for operational and staff organizations.
• Understanding of National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) on health services and the implementation of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) support role to Service operational readiness.

Preferred Experience:

• Master's in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration.
• Experience with healthcare analytics.
• Experience with DoD or VA.
• Active Secret Clearance.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance: This position requires the employee to be a US Citizen and require the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Work Location: This position requires the employee to be on site in Falls Church, VA in a hybrid capacity.

Work Environment: Work will be done in an office setting/environment and will need to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment. The person in this role will need to have the ability to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time and occasionally will need to move about inside an office environment. This position frequently communicates with other employees and external stakeholders. The person needs to have the ability to accurately exchange information in these settings.
