As an open source community builder, you know how to strike a balance of passion and pragmatism. You thrive on building sustainable content programs that developers, contributors, and consumers taut as high-quality documentation where the samples and tutorials "just work". You love working in open source to create better developer experiences for its users. Drawing from your experience, you'll:
* drive content initiatives that bring in new community members to the Swift programming language and support the existing ecosystem
* write content for swift.org, forums.swift.org, and other channels meeting the future developers of Swift where they are, and provide experienced developers with targeted content
* help drive an events content program geared towards getting started, up and running, troubleshooting, and advanced guides like performance for Swift for Linux
* help troubleshoot, debug, and guide Swift developers
* Recommend developer experience and other improvements for Swift Package Manager (SwiftPM) and other ecosystems tools
A large part of this role will be interfacing with open source developers and contributors of many skill sets and backgrounds and writing Swift with them! If you don't already know Swift, you'll be expected to learn to prepare samples and tutorials. While there is an emphasis for new documentation and bringing in new users, this role will be responsible for being a bridge between what we have, the deltas of what's missing, and the content opportunities of what's ahead.
