The Senior Analyst, Contracts position will be responsible for providing support for the Surgical Vision contracting needs. The Senior Analyst is responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing capital equipment commercial lease and sale contracts on behalf of the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of contract law, financial terms, and industry-specific knowledge related to capital equipment. The analyst will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that contracts are legally sound, meet the organization's business objectives, and comply with all relevant regulations.

This position will work closely with the Contracts team leadership, Contracts Department, Compliance Department, and commercial leaders in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate capital equipment commercial lease and sale contracts, ensuring that they align with the organization's CPC approval and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to address complex legal issues and processing of redlines.
  • Work closely with the finance and compensation teams to ensure the financial reporting of the contracts are accurate.
  • Analyze and assess financial aspects such as pricing, payment terms, interest rates, and other financial considerations.
  • Liaison in negotiations between legal and customers to reach mutually beneficial contract terms.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date contract repository, ensuring that all relevant documents and records are easily accessible.
  • Monitor contract expiration dates and renewal options, and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Enter, maintain, review and validate the contract data into SAP. Ensure that data is consistent and uniformly entered in accordance with the established guidelines.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in contract information.
  • Assist in retrieving specific contract details as requested by internal departments and for audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and legal, to ensure alignment on contract terms and conditions.
  • Provides training as needed with respect to contracts, pricing, compliance, and administrative processes.
  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree may be preferred but is not required.
  • Proven experience in contract drafting and negotiation, particularly in capital equipment leasing and sales contracts.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of dynamic business experience is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in contracting is required.
  • Medical Device Industry experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and ability to manage in a complex/ time sensitive environment is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Toolset (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Prior experience working with customer facing teams is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (presentations, listening, written skills) are required.
  • Prior experience effectively working through periods of change, ambiguity and complexity is required.
  • Configuration Pricing Quote (CPQ) software systems experience preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $77,000 to $124,200.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

    • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
    • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
