NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for a Senior Contracts Negotiator to support a Federal Program in Denver CO. This is a direct-hire role with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator. It is a hybrid role.
Senior Contracts Negotiator
As a Sr. Contracts Negotiator you will be responsible for the hands-on management and support of supplier contracts, negotiations, and future contract planning for the SNC contracts team. You will be responsible for negotiating, administering, extending and terminating standard and nonstandard contracts. The candidate will be an authorized representative and as the interface with customer buying representatives/suppliers and, as such, will be responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. This includes the coordination of solutions to contractual issues and customer concerns related to Company performance across various business groups. Will ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions.
Other responsibilities will include: - MSA and Supplier agreement preparation and review - Identifying and mitigating execution risks - Participate in strategy development - Data rights and IP strategy guidance - Day to day contracts administration - Customer relationship maintenance and support - Collaboration across multiple disciplines: supply chain, program management, engineering, and pricing - Maintain communication to ensure timely contract execution - Organizes and maintains contract documents - Administering supplier management and guidance - Collaboration with leadership to align strategy for program growth - Support of executive presentations - Ensuring contract compliance throughout life of the effort
Professional Experience
Mid-Level - Typically 5 - 8 years
Senior Level - Typically 9 - 15 years
Basic Qualifications: - Knowledge US government contracts - Must be a US citizen. May need to obtain a Secret security clearance - Bachelor's degree or higher
Desired Skills: - Intellectual property knowledge - Experience with Multiple Contract Types (FFP, FPIF, CPAF, CPFF, CPIF, T&M) - Ability to work autonomously and demonstrated communication skills - Prior relevant experience in Aerospace and/or Aviation areas - Demonstrated ability to work across various teams
