Description:The Senior Corporate Accountant is an integral member of the Accounting Department with responsibility for month end close, account reconciliations, preparation of journal entries, and financial audit assistance. The Senior Corporate Accountant will work closely with the Director of Corporate Accounting providing accurate and timely accounting data. Responsibilities

Description:The Senior Corporate Accountant is an integral member of the Accounting Department with responsibility for month end close, account reconciliations, preparation of journal entries, and financial audit assistance. The Senior Corporate Accountant will work closely with the Director of Corporate Accounting providing accurate and timely accounting data. Responsibilities
Fundamental Components:
- Enter journal entries into ERP system
- Assist with the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process ensuring that all data is entered accurately and timely
- Maintain general ledger account reconciliations
- Record accruals, manage prepaid expenses, reconcile fixed asset accounts.
- Assist with financial audits providing accurate data for annual and all other audits
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis
- Participate in ERP system module implementations
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, including cash flow statement
- Participate in preparation of SEC reporting documents, including 10k and 10Q.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required (Bachelor's degree in Accounting or another business-related field is preferred). CPA certification a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in accounting with specific experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Advanced abilities in Excel and database management.
- Proven knowledge of US GAAP practices, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems required; experience with ERP system implementation.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.
- Experience with SOX compliance is a plus.
- Experience with Floqast is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and collaborate with staff at all organizational levels across various business units is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
