Overview We are seeking applicants with eight to ten years of quantitative experience with an emphasis in Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition cost estimating analysis; familiarity with various software and cost estimating, analysis, models and tools; strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic, ability to work autonomously or in a team environment, with excellent communication, quantitative, research and analytical skills to provide cost estimating/analysis and budget analysis and execution support for DOD software acquisition programs. * Candidates must also possess analytical and problem solving skills with an in-depth knowledge of cost estimating to include: * Experience with cost estimating methodologies
* Cost estimating relationship development
* Cost model development
* Validation and normalization techniques
* Risk analysis
* Business case analysis
* Cost benefit analysis. * Experience in preparing cost estimates, assessing cost and budget impacts of program alternatives, and preparing and presenting applicable program documentation and briefings are a plus.
* Familiarity with MIL-STD-881, and certification in the Cost Estimating career field by a recognized professional society or educational organization (i.e., Career field specific DAWIA level III / Advanced, ICEAA CCEA, etc.) preferred.
* Applicants must have a security clearance (Secret level or higher). Education Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
