Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior Cybersecurity Strategy Architect to join our team and provide technical leadership throughout the business development lifecycle resulting in highly rated (purple/blue) proposal responses. The Tyto Senior Cybersecurity Strategy Architect provides technical direction and expertise in various areas, including building future-oriented solutions leveraging commercial cybersecurity technologies including: Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR); Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms; Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools; penetration testing tools; Vulnerability Management (VM) platforms; firewalls; Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS); and other cybersecurity-relevant technologies. The Senior Cybersecurity Strategy Architect leverages their knowledge of this technology space to outline an overall corporate cybersecurity strategy composed of multiple applied solutions by performing extensive research, development, and prototyping to craft a portfolio of cybersecurity capabilities that can support the US federal government to create compelling solutions. The Senior Cybersecurity Strategy Architect will create innovative solutions that meet the requirements of procurement documents, are cost effective, differentiated, and align to unique perspectives of customer pain points in a manner to help Tyto's success in winning new business. The Senior Cybersecurity Strategy Architect will engage early in new business pursuits and drive solutions strategies between the capture and proposal preparation phases. The ideal candidate is not only proficient in cybersecurity but is also visionary in their approach to leveraging technology in ways that can deliver mission outcomes. Responsibilities: * Leverage their significant experience in cybersecurity to lead the establishment and implementation of our technical strategy throughout all phases of the procurement lifecycle for larger opportunities in Tyto's business development pipeline. * Work directly with Business Development (BD), Capture Managers, Technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Business Unit (BU) leadership, proposal teams, and pricing on solution development and win strategy by simultaneously supporting business development call plans and driving the creation of the appropriate work products throughout Tyto's BD lifecycle. * Collaborate across the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and BU teams as a major contributor in curating Tyto's corporate cybersecurity approach and inherent methodologies. * Oversee definition and documentation of enterprise level policies, procedures, guidance, and best practices regarding use of cybersecurity tools and frameworks. * Develop operational concepts, requirements, and architectural designs; evolve systems architectures, conduct and analyze requirements flow down, propose verification methodologies. * Develop and curate a library of standardized and frequently used cybersecurity design patterns. * Develop compelling, innovative, and responsive solutions to customer needs and requirements that are consistently evaluated as superior/excellent. * Collaborate with Capture Leadership and leads teams of SMEs and other SA's in defining, building and representing Tyto solutions, and support sales enablement activities for these teams. * Document solutions to include developing a Concept of Operations (CONOPs). * Support storyboard development for a solution to proposal transition. * Review proposal artifacts and ensure proposals reflect Tyto cybersecurity solutions. * Required: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent, relevant experience will be considered. * Working knowledge of systems engineering documentation to include CONOPS, interface control documents, and verification and test documents. * Engineering knowledge in the creation of architectural representations. * Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills. * Familiarity with a wide variety of cybersecurity tools. * Familiarity with a wide variety of cybersecurity frameworks and requirements including the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), and the MITRE Adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Common Knowledge (ATT&CK) Framework. * 3+ years' experience with designing cybersecurity solutions. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively across functional groups to optimize product & service offerings. * Understands the many aspects of United States Government/Department of Defense programs, including but not limited to program and project management, staffing, engineering, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), quality, logistics, technology, and regulations. * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. * Perform other duties as assigned by management. * Desired: * 7+ years of experience supporting proposal solution development in a government contracting environment for multi-teammate, solutions-based proposals. * Certifications in cybersecurity technologies and vendor-agnostic cybersecurity knowledge and skills. * 5+ years as a lead solutions architect working engineering proposal responses for a federal systems integrator, managed service provider or ISV/cloud provider, with an overall win rate greater than 30% by TCV. * Active SECRET security clearance preferred or be able to secure DoD Security clearance. * Tyto Athene is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all EEOC rules and regulations.
