Job Summary
The Data Insights Analyst will be responsible for generating in-depth studies and analyses of Trane's supply chain, identifying inefficiencies, improvement opportunities and potential cost/savings implications. Business leaders will depend on this position to help them leverage the depth of the company's data assets to support ongoing business decisions. The analyst will work cross-functionally with procurement, planning, materials, and IT teams to ensure that the business is solving the right problems with the right solutions to add value and productivity for the company.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite a week) and will be based out of our Davidson, NC location.
Responsibilities
Partner with business and functional leaders to solve data-related challenges
Develop analysis methodologies to continuously monitor performance and feed actionable intelligence to operational groups as they manage for daily improvement.
Develop methods and solutions to improve supply chain performance; lead and/or partner with matched pairs within the organization to drive solutions to implementation
Identify and support opportunities to reduce complexity, compress cycle time and automate day to day business processes.
Build visualization and reporting products to project specifications using Oracle BI, Tableau
Qualifications
3 to 5+ years supply chain experience, domain knowledge of logistics
Bachelor's Degree preferred; 5+ years of relative experience required in lieu of degree
Mastery of data analysis tools and technology such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Microsoft Excel, or similar
Preferred experience with Oracle BI, regression analysis, and desktop automation software
Understanding of procurement / supply chain category management, or logistics and associated business processes

Base Pay Range: $90,000 - $125,000 / year and will include a bonus plan
