Bloomberg Connects is a rapidly growing, free platform that helps museums, galleries, and cultural spaces make their institutions, stories and dynamic content more engaging to audiences around the world. Launched in 2019, Connects features multimedia guides with unique content exclusive to each of our over 800 cultural institution partners across 33 countries.
As part of Bloomberg's culture of giving back, Connects is a joint effort between Bloomberg and Bloomberg Philanthropies in support of their work to ensure better, longer lives for the greatest number of people by focusing on five key areas: the arts, education, the environment, government innovation, and public health.

Salary Range = 160000 - 240000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.

We'll trust you to:
- Participate in a cross-functional agile team spanning design and engineering
- Connect and consolidate our full platform's data across multiple analytics, marketing and product systems
- Help our product team make data-driven decisions by providing quantitative data to accompany our research team's qualitative data
- Support data quality of the platform
You'll need to have experience with:
- Build scalable data pipelines to support analytics & reporting
- 3+ years in software/data engineering
- Data warehouses (Google Big Query, Amazon Redshift, Databricks etc.)
- Proficiency in Python & SQL
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- BA, BS, MS, PhD in Compute/Data Science, Engineering or related technology field
We'd love to see experience with:
- Building and maintaining APIs
- Vector embeddings/databases and Retrieval Augmented Generation
- Experience building data pipelines for search indexing
