Summary:
Goldbelt Professional Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Evaluation Specialist to support the Influenzas Clinical Epidemiology Team and Treatment Team, that is part of the Influenza Division of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD). The position will be working at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Roybal Campus in Atlanta, GA. The CDC is the nation's premier health promotion, prevention, and preparedness agency. The Senior Data Evaluation Specialist will report to Goldbelt Professional Services leadership to ensure the execution of timely, high-quality deliverables for the client.

The Senior Data Evaluation Specialist will report to Goldbelt Professional Services leadership to ensure the execution of timely, high-quality deliverables for the client.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform as the lead data manager for the large hospital influenza system.
- Compile and process data from 15 state and local health departments on a weekly basis.
- Write macros, create PowerPoints, generate reports, and present data at weekly Surveillance Team meetings.
- Serves as the main analyst on a variety of complex analytical projects.
- Develop dashboards in Power BI for influenza and surveillance research to consolidate and visualize data.
- Perform natural language processing for free text cleaning of data by developing machine learning and algorithms to feed in test data.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges.
- Highly detailed and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Highly proficient in using various software (Python, SAS, SQL, SPSS, Stata, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in statics data management working with large data sets.
- Experience with Data visualization utilizing Power BI.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment.
