Senior Database Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data management and retrieval. You will be responsible for troubleshooting production issues, analyzing and fixing job failures, and providing permanent fixes where possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Collaborate with software developers to integrate database solutions into applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in production environments.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization to ensure system efficiency.
• Generate and analyze reports from SQL databases for internal and external stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SQL jobs and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL programming and database management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to diagnose complex database issues.
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
• Extensive experience in SSIS development for data integration and transformation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Azure or cloud-based database solutions (preferred but not required).

Certifications

Azure Certification (preferred, but not mandatory).

Education: Bachelors Degree
