Gradient, a Geosyntec Company, is seeking a motivated and resourceful Senior Database Specialist to apply relevant skills in database design and management, programming, and/or data visualization to a diverse range of environmental and product stewardship project settings. You will have the opportunity to join our growing practice in one of our office locations: downtown Boston, MA or Charlottesville, VA.

Experience and Skills
- Train and supervise early and mid-career staff.
- Manage data-related project tasks.
- Prepare and review data summaries and visualizations.
- Build and maintain environmental and product stewardship databases and/or web applications.
Education and Licensure
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, natural sciences, or related field. (required)
- Advanced degree in engineering, natural sciences, or related field. (preferred)
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- At least 8 years (10+ years preferred) of environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
- Exceptional written and oral communication. (required)
- Prior experience with environmental data and relational database systems (EQuIS, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS Access). (required)
- Programming and/or coding experience (e.g., Python with Numpy, Scipy; Django, or Pandas; Matplotlib; R; JavaScript; Power BI). (preferred)
