Senior Deal Desk Specialist - Contract Position

How this role will Serve, Own and Grow at Rev:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Deal Desk Specialist for a 3-6-month contract to join our team, reporting to the VP, Finance. In this pivotal role, you will manage the end-to-end deal process, ensuring that customer contracts and order forms are structured effectively and comply with company policies. Your expertise will be instrumental in collaborating with sales, finance, and legal teams to drive efficient deal execution and support our organization's growth objectives.

Contract Details:
  • Duration: 3-6 months
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Location: Hybrid onsite at our Austin, TX office (1717 W 6th St, Suite 310, Austin, TX 78703) or remote
Responsibilities:
  • Deal Structuring and Review: Evaluate and approve complex customer contracts and order forms, ensuring alignment with internal policies and strategic goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, legal, and finance teams to facilitate deal reviews, analyze sales pipeline performance, and manage the operational approval process for opportunities across all regions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to the deal review process, aiming to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a trusted advisor to the sales team, providing guidance on deal structures and navigating approval processes to optimize deal outcomes.
  • System Implementation: Participate in the testing and implementation of new Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) applications, providing feedback to optimize these tools for operational efficiency.
  • Special Projects: Lead and contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned, supporting the organization's strategic objectives.


Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3+ years in deal desk, sales operations, or contract management roles within the technology or software industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Google Workspace, Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, and other internet-based applications.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex deal structures and assess their impact on company objectives.
  • Organizational Skills: Superior ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating across various departments and influencing stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify opportunities for operational improvements, develop recommendations, and drive meaningful change within the organization.
