RESPONSIBILITIES
Looking for a Senior Demand Planning Manager to lead the demand forecasting process to ensure accurate and data-driven predictions of future product demand, optimal inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and maximize customer satisfaction.
Must have the ability to translate data into actionable insights and proven experience transforming demand planning and/or S&OP processes. Ideally, including a transformation through a demand planning system implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Looking for a Senior Demand Planning Manager to lead the demand forecasting process to ensure accurate and data-driven predictions of future product demand, optimal inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and maximize customer satisfaction.
Must have the ability to translate data into actionable insights and proven experience transforming demand planning and/or S&OP processes. Ideally, including a transformation through a demand planning system implementation.
Essential Functions
- Establish and run the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and effectively communicate decisions, action items, and next steps including:
- Providing cross-functional support of S&OE activities and managing inputs and outputs into the SIOP process
- Driving S&OE process audits to gage S&OE maturity
- Identifying opportunities to accelerate S&OE maturity by leveraging best practices while still accommodating customer needs
- Providing leadership and guidance to S&OE Planning and Analytics to streamline execution and data gathering
- Remaining current on S&OP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) best practices, and work to continuously evolve the overall process to meet current and future business needs.
- Implement best practices and continuously improve forecasting methodologies and improve forecast accuracy using Demand Planning systems for statistical and collaborative forecasting methods
- Determine bias, forecast accuracy metrics and root cause analysis
- Drive progress on key initiatives, including achievements, timelines, KPI's, sequencing, resource allocation, risk/mitigation, leadership touchpoints/approvals
- Participate in the financial budgeting process.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting for various business areas.
- Establish Fulfillment SOPs, tools, and standards for leading scenario analysis
- Continuously monitor historical sales, inventory levels, and buying trends to create a buying plan to guide inventory replenishment and new purchasing.
- Work closely with Sales, Digital and Brand Creative to incorporate business intelligence, new product launches, promotions, and seasonal trends into forecasts. Arrive at a consensus demand forecast indicating true market demand in both units and dollars.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure demand alignment with production and inventory strategies.
- Develop KPI reports to monitor forecast performance and inventory efficiency. Track forecast accuracy and identify key drivers of demand variability.
Experience and Skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- APICS CSCP, or CPIM certification preferred but not required
- IBF S&OP - IBP certification preferred but not required
- 5+ years of Demand Planning experience
- 6+ years of finished goods forecasting experience
- Experience working in consumer goods.
- Experience managing a demand planning team is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., Forecast Pro, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle Demantra, Blue Yonder).
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of statistical forecasting models and methodologies.
- Knowledge of international, end to end integrated supply chain organizations and systems from manufacturing, supply chain integrated planning, customer logistics, to physical distribution network
