Description:
Global Derivatives Services is responsible for the administration, accounting, reporting and analysis of derivative activity for the General Fund globally and for Third Party derivatives in Asia. Products currently under management include interest rate, currency, credit and equity derivatives which comprise the Swap, Future, FX, and Forward holdings of the parent company and its subsidiaries.
The incumbent will be a key member of the Global Derivative Services Accounting and Reporting team, whose primary responsibility is ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the general ledger close and the external financial disclosure information relating to derivative activity.

Responsibilities:
- Lead or support various Global Derivative Services initiatives
- Provide in-depth analysis on quarterly financial results to internal business units and senior management
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of the ledger for IFRS, USGAAP and NAIC bases
- Prepare and review manual derivative journal entries
- Ensure system generated ledger postings are in accordance with approved accounting policies
- Prepare and review quarterly and year-end information for IFRS, USGAAP and NAIC external disclosures
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA a plus
- Derivative hedge accounting experience preferred
- External IFRS, USGAAP and NAIC reporting experience
- Extensive experience with various derivative products (e.g., swaps, futures, forwards and options)
- Strong computer skills and an expert proficiency using MS Excel and the Essbase add-in
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with all levels of the organization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong team player
