- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to resolve design challenges and improve production processes.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in design, cost reduction, and performance enhancement.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in design innovation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of design engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience in product design and development within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of engineers through complex projects.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
