The group is focused on the data-center and advanced manufacturing space by specializing in E-houses, CDUs, CUBs, White Space, Modular Data Centers, and other modular products for these markets.We offer end-to-end services to develop, design, procure, manufacture, and commission these modular products to meet client requirements.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and development of modular data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in 3D modeling, drafting, and detailing complex modular structures, including power and cooling systems, enclosures, and supporting frameworks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and structural design principles, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in data center solutions.

Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of modular data center solutions using SolidWorks and related CAD tools.
- Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and BOMs for enclosures, racking systems, and mechanical infrastructure.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards, including ASHRAE, ANSI, and ISO requirements for data center environments.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and structural engineers to integrate power distribution, cooling, and cable management solutions.
- Conduct design reviews and feasibility assessments, identifying and resolving design challenges early in the process.
- Perform structural and thermal analysis to optimize performance and durability of modular components.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles are applied.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation efforts to refine and improve designs.
- Maintain documentation and revision control for all design work.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to best practices and process improvements.
Required qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) to perform essential functions of this position:
I. Work Experience
- 10+ years of experience in SolidWorks design, specifically in modular structures, enclosures, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal design, structural steel frameworks, and thermal management solutions.
- Experience with PDM (Product Data Management) systems for version control and collaboration.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes including metal fabrication, welding, and assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure components, including HVAC, UPS, and cable management, is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers, project managers, and clients.
II. Education/Training
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
III. Work Environment
