The Vision Products Group (VPG) is seeking a Senior Design Manager to help develop exciting new experiences for the Apple Vision Pro. We build technology that inspires people. What inspires you? Description
You will be responsible for leading, coaching, and growing a team of technical senior designers working on new software products for Vision Pro and our partners.
Leading design efforts for new products, from concept & prototype through to finalized design specs
Balancing complexity with ease of use for a range of customers, including professionals
Creating and maintaining a culture of innovation through safety, care, and respect for each other, our partners, and our customers
Managing cross-functional relationships with engineering, program, and other partners
This position requires skilled creative leadership to deliver projects under tight deadlines and with input from many senior-level stakeholders. People-first leadership skills are a must, as well as composure under pressure, problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to mediate and cope with rapid change. Above all, the role requires a dedicated individual who understands Apple's high standards and design aesthetic to the core. This involves maintaining a high level of visual quality, ensuring all designs are functional, comprehensive, and align with Apple's design standards.
