SUMMARY
The Senior Developer III will support the Software Engineering group in the IS department on various projects, as needed, with minimal supervision. This contractor should be able to produce high-quality work while exemplifying excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Technical Knowledge, Years of Related Experience, Skills, Licenses, and Systems Experience
Education: B.S. degree in IT-related field, or equivalent education and work experience Experience: 4+ years of experience with writing complex Web applications using C#, ASP.NET, RESTful and similar web services Skills: ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL, HTML and CSS License: N/A Systems: Experience with Empower.NET and Visual Studio 2019 or newer, creating and maintaining web applications required. First-hand experience with application integrations high preferred. Experience with any of the following applications preferred but not required: DevOps, Boomi, and Sigma.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, code, and test components to make systems that are cost effective, scalable, high performance, and reusable
Review and provide insight on how to manipulate existing software to conform to changing requirements, correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance
Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements
Assist with deployment procedures
Communicate updates, questions and concerns with supervisor or HR
MEASUREMENTS OF SUCCESS
Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Exceptional interpersonal, collaborative, and self-starter skills are a must
Excellent time management skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to learn, evaluate, and implement new technologies quickly
