Senior Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Developer with the potential to grow into a Chief Technology Officer role. This position requires a deep understanding of options trading, software development, and low-latency systems, combined with leadership skills capable of guiding front-office development teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating trading solutions and a strategic vision for technological advancement.

Experience and Skill Desired:

• Apply a solid understanding of options modeling, pricing, and fitting to enhance trading strategies.
• Analyze and optimize systems for low latency performance, particularly in relation to CME and East Coast exchanges using microwaves.
• Drive innovation and long-term growth by leveraging expertise in CME and equity market dynamics.
• Develop and implement a proprietary quoter system from scratch.
• Design and develop the software aspects of FPGA-based solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven leadership experience in a front-office environment at a major options trading firm.
• Expertise in developing high-performance trading software and familiarity with FPGA technology.
• Strong grasp of option modeling techniques and low-latency market structures.
• Practical knowledge of financial market dynamics, including CME and equity markets.
• Ability to hire, mentor, and manage technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic, big-picture approach to technology solutions.
