Senior Device Manager / Intune Engineer

Title: Senior Intune Engineer (Windows & Hybrid SCCM-Intune Migration)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Intune Engineer to lead a 2,500-device migration from SCCM to a hybrid Intune-SCCM model. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows Autopilot, Intune, SCCM, and experience handling large-scale migrations with minimal disruption. Past the migration, another company-wide migration will be taking place, migrating all PCs to a hybrid environment. Post that, BAU maintenance and ongoing improvements will be expected to enhance the environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of 2,500 Windows devices to a hybrid Intune-SCCM environment.
• Work with Quest Migration Tool for office-based device migrations.
• Implement zero-touch deployment strategies using Autopilot and Intune.
• Ensure compatibility of legacy applications like Bazooka that require on-premises authentication.
• Support junior Intune engineers and provide training/documentation.
• Collaborate with Microsoft, vendors, and internal teams for troubleshooting and best practices.
• Optimize Intune policies and configurations for security and performance.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Intune, SCCM, and Windows device management.
• Expert in Intune hybrid management, including co-management with SCCM.
• Experience with Autopilot, Azure AD, GPO to MDM migration.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell) for automation.
• Experience with Quest Migration Tools preferred.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage high-stakes migrations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications (MD-102, MD-101, SC-300) a plus.
• Experience managing executive IT environments with minimal downtime.
• Strong documentation and knowledge transfer skills.
