Contract Type: B2B, fully remote.
Tech Stack:
- Must-have: Java, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Nice-to-have: Understanding of OpenEdge.
- System: Monolithic, Windows-based - requires a Windows administration background and familiarity with Windows servers.
Responsibilities:
- Implement Dockerization via Kubernetes.
- Develop and enhance the deployment pipeline (CI/CD) using Jenkins, Git, GitLab, BitBucket, Apache, Tomcat, Eclipse, and OpenEdge.
- Design and automate development, build, deployment, testing, and monitoring tools.
- Work closely with development teams to optimize and troubleshoot the Windows Eclipse IDE tooling.
- Further develop the Java deployment tool.
- Support a Windows-based monolithic system, with potential future cloud integration.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- DevOps Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Ant, Groovy, Jenkins, Git, Eclipse IDE).
- Windows Development Experience: Familiarity with Windows servers and environments.
- Web Servers: Experience with Apache and Tomcat.
- Collaboration Tools: Jira, Confluence.
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile (Scrum, SAFe).
- Programming Skills: Java is required. Knowledge of Progress OpenEdge and databases is a plus.
- Language: English (B2 level minimum, mandatory), German (B2 level is a plus).
