Senior DevSecOps Engineer

ECS is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to work in our Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon [contract award].

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and implementing security policies to ensure artifact integrity verification and platform secure communication. This will involve direct collaboration with the Kubernetes Platform Team and Configuration Management and Data Management teams.

Responsibilities:

• Create, manage, and implement security policies to ensure artifact integrity verification and platform secure communication
• Collaborate directly with the Kubernetes Platform Team and Configuration Management and Data Management teams to ensure security policies are aligned with business needs and technological capabilities
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and remediate security risks
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including security policies, procedures, and standards
• Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve the security posture of the organization
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the software development lifecycle

Salary Range: $146,000-$161,000
