Position Summary:

Responsible for all ongoing operational management of clinical service departments and quality assurance of services within assigned territory/service line. This senior-level position involves comprehensive management, strategic planning, and the ability to foster a collaborative environment among colleagues, stakeholders, coordinating partners and staff.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensures implementation of clinical services philosophy, policies and procedures and clinical training.
  • Implements and analyzes the effectiveness of clinical systems.
  • Designs new clinical services.
  • Responsible for new program/service line development and implementation.
  • Ensures quality clinical supervision is delivered by Clinical Directors to Program Managers and other professionals.
  • Provides oversight and indirect supervision to all clinical staff through Clinical Directors and other professionals.
  • Reviews and approves all clinical conditions of contracts.
  • Participates in contract negotiation and contract review processes.
  • Participates, as necessary, in the RFP process.
  • Responsible for development and implementation of clinical outcomes.
  • Ensures that the quality of care and programming match the needs of clients and CRi philosophy of programming across all of CRi's programs.
  • Monitors effectiveness of programs via Clinical Directors and recommends changes as necessary.
  • Develops and maintains constructive liaison with significant program related agencies and its funders.
  • Informs the Chief Clinical Officer of events, issues, problems and progress of residents/residences and programs.
  • Coordinates with other administrative staff to ensure quality services (i.e. Human Resources, Finance).
  • Responsible for implementing improvement processes according to CRi's policy and procedures.
  • Stays updated on current trends and advancements in the healthcare industry and integrating this knowledge into the organization's practices.
  • Innovative thinker and problem solver.
  • Leads and/or serves on a variety of appropriate internal and external committees to represent CRi.
  • Engages and collaborates/builds consensus with broad groups of stakeholders via focused advisory/action teams and robust communication pathways.
  • Perform strategic planning and carry out plans for the continued development and improvement of overall Everest performance.
  • Discuss and set annual agency level goals/objectives; enable or contribute to the achievement of these goals/objectives.
  • Contribute and maintain a positive, professional, high performing, and productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance/adherence to agency governing documents (Policies, Standard Operating Procedures [SOPs], Work Instructions).
  • Continue to build client relationships and grow CRi brand.
  • Perform business analysis and benchmarking in each business area as well as at the agency level, find room for continuous improvement
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Must have at least a Master's degree with appropriate clinical license and seven years experience with the ability to make clinical decisions on all aspects of care and management.

Preferred Qualifications: Licensed Clinical Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Physical Demands: Physical mobility to get around to programs.

Working Environment: Office setting and visiting programs. Travel as necessary.

Supervision Exercised: Direct supervision of Clinical Directors and Program Managers as necessary.
