Job Description
The Senior Director of Global Quality at Fortune Brands Innovations (FBIN) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing quality management systems to drive continuous improvement and support growth in a dynamic business environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, this role requires a hands-on approach to implementing digital tools and building a world-class quality team across global operations. The Senior Director ensures the implementation of quality best practices and fosters strong connections with Business Units to align with FBIN's overall priorities. This role oversees global quality professionals responsible for Voice of Customer, Field Engineering, Warranty Management, Quality Analytics, and Liability Claims Management.
Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $159,000 USD - $262,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Alignment: Align goals and objectives within the Global Quality function with business priorities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proactively collaborate with leaders in Product Development, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to enhance product, process, and service quality.
- Voice of Customer: Lead processes to capture, investigate, analyze, and resolve consumer and customer-related issues.
- Warranty and Liability Management: Manage Warranty and Liability Claims spend, driving continuous improvement to support growth and reduce costs.
- Best Practices Adoption: Identify and drive the adoption of best practices across all business units, focusing on process improvements to enhance efficiency, deliver financial results, and eliminate non-value-added work.
- Digital Tools Implementation: Develop and implement digital tools that enable continuous improvement of global customer quality metrics.
- Team Leadership: Hire, develop, and manage a team of technical managers, engineers, and technicians, fostering a collaborative environment focused on driving results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, with a preference for an Engineering focus. Advanced degrees or certifications in quality management are advantageous.
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership/management experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, or Product Development Engineering within a quality-driven environment.
- Strong management and leadership skills in a continuous improvement-focused environment. Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and commitment to world-class operations, manufacturing, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated success in driving improvement and leading change throughout an organization.
- A strong passion and vision for quality, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
