About the role
The Director of GTM Strategy & Planning will lead a cross-functional team responsible for driving aligned, data-informed strategy across Sales, Marketing, and Services. This high-impact role owns the full GTM planning cycle - from ICP definition and market segmentation to annual planning, territory design, and forecasting. You'll partner closely with functional leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to ensure GTM execution is anchored in a cohesive, scalable strategy.
Reporting to the SVP of Revenue Operations, this leader will manage a team composed of Sales GTM S&P, Marketing GTM S&P, and Services GTM S&P professionals, ensuring consistency in strategic planning, KPI definition, and go-to-market alignment across functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the annual GTM planning process, including TAM/SAM/SOM modeling, segmentation, territory design, quota setting, and resource allocation.
- Define and maintain Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and ensure alignment with marketing, sales, and services teams.
- Lead the development of go-to-market strategies for new products, cross-sell/upsell motions, and expansion plays.
- Build and operationalize scalable planning frameworks, playbooks, and decision support tools.
- Partner with Finance on forecast modeling and headcount/resource planning.
- Provide thought leadership on growth strategy, identifying strategic bets and whitespace opportunities.
- Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives with clear OKRs and timelines.
- Manage and mentor a team of GTM Strategy & Planning professionals aligned to Sales, Marketing, and Services.
About You
- 10+ years in GTM Strategy, Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy, or a similar strategic function.
- Strong experience leading GTM planning and execution in a SaaS environment.
- Track record of managing and developing high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional analytical and modeling skills (Excel, Tableau/Power BI, Salesforce).
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, revenue planning, and segmentation methodologies.
- Ability to influence at the executive level with strong business acumen and crisp communication.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Prior consulting experience a plus
