Job Summary and Qualifications
Position Summary
The primary role of the Sr Director IT Procurement Processes is to manage, organize, direct and operationalize significant Enterprise level processes for IT contracting. This position will create and implement Procurement processes including a ServiceCentral intake process, a Contract Lifecycle Management system and other internal processes aligned with Application Portfolio Management.
This role will require the coordination of Sr. ITG Leadership and Sr. HCA Executive Leadership to adopt new technology products and services that provide the framework for contracting innovation and the data analytics for the Enterprise.
A successful candidate should be capable of:
-Driving the acceleration and execution of programs/projects
-Identifying and creating efficiencies in processes using automation
-Delivering strong leadership while working independently
-Effectively communicating goals and Thought Leadership
-Reporting compliance for implemented processes
-Managing a team responsible for operationalizing Procurement processes
Major Responsibilities:
Proven ability to develop strong stakeholder partnerships, from staff level to executive suite; builds trust and drives consensus among parties.
Serves as primary point of contact for an ITG VP/AVP/Director area, serves as escalation point for resolution of project/program issues with other ITG areas and with HCA business units.
Oversee and lead the enhancement of processes related to sourcing and contract execution, continuously seeking process improvement and operational efficiency.
Maintain knowledge of healthcare related IT technologies, IT cost management, operational and financial procurement of products and services and the corresponding market trends.
Proven ability to develop strong stakeholder partnerships, from staff level to executive suite; builds trust and drives consensus among parties.
Drives team cohesion, seeks and incorporates stakeholder input and feedback while diffusing tension.
Create and deliver executive-level presentations.
Apply strong project leadership skills for planning and execution of priorities while mentoring, managing, and training of other team members across the enterprise.
Manage and communicate project status and results with internal departments and customers.
Exercise effective listening and business judgment skills to process and understand all information and facts necessary for effective decision-making.
Demonstrate ability to maintain grace under pressure in difficult situations while displaying a high level of professional courtesy.
Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree Business or related Technology Field required
Master's degree Business or related Technology Field preferred
Licenses, Certifications, & Training:
PMP Certification preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors Required:
Knowledge of contracting principles, vendor management, technology and product/service sourcing practices.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with experts and executives from many healthcare specialties effectively as a team member, coordinator, and facilitator.
Minimum seven (7) years of current experience in IT field with vendor contracting and relationship management.
Experience developing and implementing large-scale, complex initiatives with technology software assets.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills to direct and lead in a complex environment with competing needs, inputs and expectations.
Capable of building strong professional relationships and ability to influence all levels across the Organization.
Creative thinker with ability to set and execute strategic initiatives.
