Job Title: Senior Director of Accounting and Tax

Location: Sulphur Springs, TX

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Accounting and Tax to lead our accounting and tax functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, tax compliance, and financial reporting. This role will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial statements, managing tax strategies, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, accounting systems, and processes.
• Lead tax planning and compliance efforts, including corporate tax filings, audits, and tax strategy development.
• Work closely with the CFO to develop financial strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting and tax professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and tax laws.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or other relevant certifications preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in accounting and tax management, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
