Description:
Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Advancement - OU Health Sciences, as well as the Executive Director of Advancement for the Stephenson Cancer Center, the Senior Director will design and implement fundraising initiatives for the Center. This professional works with the Executive Director on all assigned fundraising programs and projects through completion. Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations or closely related field, eight (8) years of fundraising experience including at least two (2) years of frontline fundraising in academic medicine or cancer research, and a demonstrated track record of significant personal achievement in fundraising showing the successful closing of six- and seven-figure philanthropic gifts required.
