Key Responsibilities
People Leadership & Team Development
- Inspire, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of retail leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and innovation.
- Act as a coach and mentor to General Managers and Regional Leaders, providing clear expectations, training, and growth opportunities.
- Lead efforts to recruit, retain, and develop top talent, ensuring leadership readiness to support expansion and evolving business needs.
- Champion a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, ensuring every team member is aligned with JFFD's mission and values.
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Develop and execute a retail operations strategy that drives performance, efficiency, and profitability.
- Set clear operational goals and performance metrics, using data-driven insights to address challenges proactively.
- Build and execute scalable processes and SOPs that support operational excellence in a high-growth environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, marketing, supply chain) to align business objectives with retail execution.
Store Operations & Execution Excellence
- Drive consistency and efficiency in store operations by developing, implementing, and optimizing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure each location reflects the JFFD brand, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, product quality, and customer engagement.
- Implement best-in-class inventory management and staffing strategies to maximize sales, minimize waste, and optimize labor productivity.
- Monitor store-level performance and implement corrective actions to ensure KPIs and financial targets are met.
Customer Experience & Brand Execution
- Leverage customer insights and industry trends to continually refine the in-store experience, ensuring best-in-class service and engagement.
- Identify and integrate technology solutions to enhance the customer journey, improve operational efficiencies, and strengthen brand loyalty.
- Implement training programs that empower teams to create meaningful customer interactions and drive retention and conversion.
Financial & Operational Performance
- Own financial performance across all retail locations, including budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and profitability targets.
- Identify opportunities to improve ROI, reduce inefficiencies, and optimize resource allocation.
- Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee vendor and supplier relationships, ensuring optimal product availability, pricing, and quality control.
Innovation & Industry Trends
- Stay at the forefront of retail industry trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, ensuring JFFD remains ahead of the curve.
- Explore emerging retail technologies to drive innovation and enhance store operations, employee experience, and customer engagement.
Qualifications & Competencies
- A self-motivated, entrepreneurial leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit retail operations, with a track record of success in scaling businesses and driving results.
- Experience leading new store openings, SOP creation, and process standardization.
- Strong business acumen with expertise in financial management, budgeting, and P&L oversight.
- Exceptional people leadership skills, with the ability to recruit, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to drive a strong team culture, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align teams.

Annual Salary & Bonus Incentive
- This position is an exempt position with an annual salary range of $175,000-$190,000.
- The annual bonus incentive for this position is 20% and contingent upon the performance of the company. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan.
