Job Title/Position: Senior Director of Sales & Marketing

Reports to: President of Growth & Strategy

Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing an organization's sales and marketing programs. Developing strategic sales and marketing objectives. The Senior Director of Sales and Marketing establishes new sales territories and quotas, manages budgets, and evaluates sales performance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care:
  • Directs and implements the organizations advertising and promotional activities while creating and executing marketing strategies.
  • Conducts skills gap analyses on sales and marketing employees, prepares learning material, and evaluates results after each training session.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the entire sales and marketing department including new acquisitions.
  • Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
  • Handles discipline and termination of Marketing employees and in accordance with company policy.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies, including quarterly and annual sales budgets.
  • Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Identifies areas for Marketing Liaison & Community Liaison cross training and support and implements the training to support company objectives.
  • Measures impact of development efforts as well as the effectiveness of employee learning.
  • Recruiting, hiring, and training of Marketing Liaisons, Community Liaisons, Transitional Care Navigators and Directors of Business Development.
  • Ensures the attainment of quarterly budgeted admissions through home Health markets.
  • Drafts or assists with the drafting of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to patients and outside clinicians.
  • Maintains and Increased ACO and preferred provider status in key markets.
  • Communication:
  • Maintains expert-level knowledge of home Health sales & marketing strategies; evaluates and improve processes within work areas.
  • Monitors and reports cost-effectiveness of marketing efforts.


  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    1.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

    2.At least three years' experience in health care marketing management, preferably in home care operations. At least one year experience in sales is preferred.

    3.Knowledge of corporate business management.

    SKILLS REQUIRED

    1.Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.

    2.Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.

    3.Demonstrates excellent communications, negotiation, and public relations skills.

    4.Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
