Job Summary
Summary

The Pavilion at McLean Hospital is the premiere residential program in the country providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for adults with complex, treatment resistant psychiatric illnesses. Lincoln is a small residential program, found off the main campus of the hospital, for patients with treatment resistant depression. While Lincoln is primarily a step-down program for the Pavilion, patients can be directly admitted from the community or after a brief inpatient hospitalization. Lincoln is the only residential program in the country that offers accelerated TMS in addition to behavioral treatments. The program leader for the Pavilion / Lincoln will be responsible for overseeing all clinical and administrative operations of both programs. Through direct responsibility or delegated responsibility, the program leader will ensure that all activities support the programs' clinical missions.
The right candidate will have extensive clinical experience and knowledge, an ability to manage a large diverse staff of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and nurses. The candidate must be able to think strategically about the programs' place in the clinical mission of Mclean Hospital and within the larger MGB system. Prospective candidates must also prove skills to manage a combined expense budget of over 12 million dollars.

Responsible for overseeing the clinical and administrative operations of partial hospitalization and residential services. Focuses on delivering high-quality behavioral health care, improving patient outcomes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Drives strategic initiatives to enhance service offerings and expand patient access to care.

Essential Functions
Leads the development and implementation of behavioral health programs in partial hospitalization and residential services.
-Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and best practices in patient care delivery.
-Collaborates with clinical leadership to develop treatment plans, evaluate patient outcomes, and enhance quality of care.
-Manages the financial performance of partial hospitalization and residential services, including budgeting and resource allocation.
-Develops and monitors performance metrics to ensure the effectiveness of programs and continuous improvement.
-Supervises clinical and administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
-Leads efforts to expand services, improve patient access, and increase community awareness of behavioral health programs.
-Fosters relationships with community partners, referral sources, and other stakeholders to promote program growth.

Qualifications

Education
Master's Degree Social Work required or Master's Degree PSYCHOLOGY required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study required

Social Worker [Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker - LICSW - State License] - Generic - HR Only required

Experience
Experience in behavioral health or social services 8-10+ years required and Experience in a management or leadership role 5-7 years required and Experience in partial hospitalization or residential services in a hospital or healthcare setting 5-7 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards for behavioral health programs.
- Leadership and team management skills to oversee clinical and administrative teams.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health care delivery models and patient care best practices.
- Budgeting and financial management abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with clinical teams, stakeholders, and community partners.
