Senior Director Strategic Sourcing

Position Overview: The Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies to ensure the efficient and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging for our food products. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the food industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key suppliers.

On-Site; Atlanta, Georgia

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies that align with the company's business objectives and sustainability goals.
• Lead a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.
• Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and emerging technologies to inform sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Operations, to ensure alignment on sourcing initiatives.
• Drive cost savings and efficiency improvements through strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to sourcing and procurement.
• Develop and manage the sourcing budget, tracking performance against financial targets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within the food industry.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful sourcing strategies.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• In-depth knowledge of the food industry, including market trends, supplier networks, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in sourcing and procurement software and tools.
