Department Purpose
The Department of Support & Outreach assists students in connecting with a program of study that leads to their career objectives by providing enrollment, academic advising, success coaching, career services, transfer information and outreach services to specific student and community populations.
Position Summary
The Senior Director of Student Support-Outreach Services leads academic advising, transfer, career, student coaching, and concurrent enrollment on all campuses. The Executive Director also oversees concurrent enrollment on all PCC campuses/sites by providing leadership, strategic planning, and coordination of all concurrent enrollment efforts and activities.
This position has been identified as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) in accordance with Department of Education guidelines. As a CSA, the incumbent is required to report crimes that they become aware of to the Department of Public Safety and must attend related annual training.
In accordance with Colorado Revised Statutes 24-50-135, this position has been exempted from the State Personnel System.

- Directs all student support services at all PCC locations, including academic advising, success coaches, transfer services, student success technology, and testing center operations.
- Provides leadership and direction to testing center processes, functions, and activities across all PCC campuses/sites.
- Oversees and manages Navigate360360 for all campus locations to ensure proper advising and planning with students.
Strategic Planning and Development
- Develops and implements functions and activities that align with PCC strategic plan.
- Reviews and revises protocols and procedures to align student support services with PCC goals and objectives.
- Creates and implements student retention initiatives.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collects and analyzes data to ensure consistent high-quality services and processes across all campuses.
- Creates and analyzes qualitative and quantitative reports to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting activities and data accuracy within the Navigate360 platform.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborates with faculty and other departments to develop student services models that address the needs of the diverse student populations.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure currency of related PCC web pages.
Training and Staff Development
- Designs and implements training as needed for student support services staff, faculty and other staff involved in academic advising or utilization of Navigate360.
Budget and Resource Management
- Manages all budgets, operations, maintenance, assessment, and evaluation of student support departments on all campuses.
- Projects and tracks expenditures.
- Assesses needs and redirects funds as needed.
Technology and Resource Deployment
- Deploys appropriate technology and other tools and resources within student support to increase persistence and retention.
