Description:
Essential Functions:
Responsible for hiring, coaching, supervising, evaluating, training, and developing multiple staff. Oversees the cycle of WIC products by coordinating, organizing, and managing the logistics involved in ordering, receiving, and properly distributing supplies and inventory. Plans, directs, and coordinates transportation and distribution between warehouse and multiple centers in accordance with program and government regulations.
Develops and implements inventory management policies and procedures to optimize stock levels and align with industry trends and product recalls, and recommends process improvements and systems enhancements.
Monitors and analyzes inventory data that meets USDA standards, sales trends, demand forecasts, historical usage, and brand awareness. Completes monthly inventory warehouse audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of data and resolve discrepancies. Provides oversight of incoming inventory and product storage, returns, and disposal. Maintains existing and fosters new relationships with suppliers.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Relevant Education:
Preferred: Master's Degree
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree
Relevant Experience:
Preferred: 7-9 years
Minimum: 4-6 years
Qualifications and Skills:
Preferred: Management and Retail Experience; Advanced Microsoft Office Skills Word, Excel, and Outlook
Minimum: Supervisory and Retail Experience; Basic Microsoft Office Skills Word, Excel, and Outlook
Certification/Licensure:
Preferred: ServSafe Manager Certification
Minimum: ServSafe Food Handler Certification
