GeoSpectrum is growing and has a new career opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Designer.
As the Senior Electrical Designer, you will work within an engineering team to produce and execute electrical portions of a system design. The Designer works alongside a multidisciplinary team Engineers and other Designers, using CAD and other design tools to create and capture design information. You'll be responsible for maintaining proper documentation and configuration control of the design.

Responsibilities
- Detailed electrical system design.
- Evaluation and selection of COTS components
- Generation of schematics / diagrams / cable documentation
- Provide input on component layout and wiring plan.
- Utilize CAD tools for generating schematics and other documentation
- Manage documentation releases including product configuration control.
- Provide leadership in product development and first-off builds as the production process and documentation is developed.
- Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) and allocate GTI part numbers in the MRP system.
- Support company ECR process and corrective actions for quality issues.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Experience with electrical CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and regulations
