MicroVision has an immediate opportunity for a Sr.Electrical Engineer. As a key member of the MicroVision Electronics Platform engineering team, you will work directly with electronics design engineers as well as with the Firmware, Systems, MEMS, Optical and Mechanical engineering teams. This position at our Redmond facility will provide electronic hardware analysis, design, and development for our 3D LiDAR sensing product.
Pay Range: The pay range for this Washington-based role is $110,000 - $125,000. Exact compensation offers will vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Your Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mixed signal electronic hardware for 3D LiDAR sensing products
- Perform bring-up and debug of new designs
- Support designs through full life cycle from initial bring-up and testing to root cause of production yield issues
- Organize, structure, and deliver design documentation packages for fabrication and assembly
- Conduct design reviews
- Provide technical interpretation of design documents for contractors, suppliers, or partners
Required Skills:
- Experience with the entire PCB design process; schematic capture through system Integration
- Solid communication and problem-solving skills, ability to understand complex systems and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with mixed signal circuit design incorporating high speed digital
- Demonstrated use of Lab instruments: Oscilloscopes, Meters, Analyzers, Supplies, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
- Proficiency with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, or similar
- Understanding of circuit sensitivities and dependencies on PCB layout
- Experience with high density SMT layout for high volume production PCBs
- Familiar with modern HDI PCB fabrication and assembly
- Familiar with Engineering Document control database management
Desired Skills:
- Experience with automotive design/automotive qualification testing
- Experience with LiDAR or radar system design
- Experience with wide bandwidth, low noise analog design
- Experience with MCUs, SoCs, and FPGA's
- Experience with DDR or eMMC
- Experience with Altium Designer
- Experience within the automotive, medical, aerospace, or industrial industry
Required Experience:
- MSEE, BSEE or similar technical degree
- 4-5 years of related work experience
