As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will play a critical role in evaluating project opportunities and preparing cost estimates ranging from $100,000 to $15,000,000 across various sectors. This position involves reviewing project plans, performing take-offs, and working within the estimating database. Collaboration with design teams, construction leadership, and contractors is essential for value engineering and project planning. Strong communication skills are necessary for coordination with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Attend scope review meetings and provide conceptual estimates and budgets as needed.
- Collaborate with design teams to provide value engineering and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop detailed, accurate cost estimates using industry experience and project documentation.
- Solicit and evaluate bids from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring scope and schedule alignment.
- Identify potential project risks and proactively develop alternative solutions.
- Participate in bid presentations and negotiate contracts with clients.
- Conduct internal project hand-off meetings to communicate estimate details and project plans.
- Continuously seek process improvements and innovative approaches to estimating.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships within the industry.
- Promote and advocate for safety in all aspects of work.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience estimating electrical construction projects.
- Equivalent experience in electrical construction may be considered.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Experience with McCormick estimating software is a plus.
- Design-assist experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
