DKW is currently looking for aSenior Electronic Maintenance Technicianto support our team. The individual hired for this position will provide support for our government customers located inNewport, RI.This position is on site with very minimal telework.
Overview:
TheSenior Electronic Maintenance Technicianwill be responsible for maintaining, operating and repairing flight simulators on our Newport team. The Sr. Electronic Maintenance Technician will: Provide hardware and software support, which includes computer system, electrical system, and mechanical system repair and modifications. Provide logistical support for modification, repair, and installation. Assist with the development and testing of various training systems. Provide contract related support for the In Service Engineering Office including ordering and management of equipment stock/supply, contract logistics and documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements: MUST have an active Secret Security Clearance or higherto be hired. At a minimum, must be a graduate of an accredited technical or computer school, with related training classes.May substitute additional 4 years of relevant work experience for education requirement. 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronics equipment, large computers, mini-computers, or microprocessors including those in a networked environment. Must have an IAT Level I Certification or higher(or obtain within 3 month of hire)
