Senior Embryologist Full Time Day Paramus
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Embryologist is responsible for executing all the daily functions of the Embryology Laboratory. They are fully competent in all technical aspects of assisted reproductive technology as well as capable of managing the workflow of the lab. The senior embryologist is responsible for monthly reporting to the offsite laboratory director. They work closely with their lab staff, clinical nurses, physicians, as well as the practice manager of the fertility department. They are responsible for training and mentoring any junior, or staff embryologists. Must demonstrate full mastery of all embryology and andrology procedures needed for In Vitro Fertilization while demonstrating the ability to lead the lab team as well as work independently.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in biological science.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in clinical laboratory setting performing basic and advanced embryology techniques with experience in in-vitro fertilization.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Good written and verbal communication skills. Position may require rotating to other VMG locations from time to time when necessary.
