Job Profile Summary
Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing telecommunications networks to ensure efficient and reliable communication services. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess network needs, develop solutions, and support ongoing network operations.

Job Profile Summary
Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing telecommunications networks to ensure efficient and reliable communication services. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess network needs, develop solutions, and support ongoing network operations.
Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to)
- Design and plan telecommunications networks, including wired and wireless infrastructure, to meet business requirements and industry standards.
- Implement network infrastructure, configure devices, and deploy network services according to design specifications
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure network reliability and availability
- Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Analyze network traffic patterns and forecast capacity requirements to optimize network performance and scalability
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff to develop their skills and expertise.
- Ensure network compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to telecommunications and data privacy
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Years Experience 6+ Yrs
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

- Advanced level experience in wireline and wireless telecommunications networks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Advanced level knowledge of PoN, WDM, VoIP, SIP technologies, and networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, L2VPN, MPLS, ISIS and BGP.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., PRTG, LibreNMS, Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds).
- Familiarity with cloud networking, SD-WAN, and network virtualization technologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead critical network projects and initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years' of extensive experience in network Engineering/Operations in a Juniper based environment
- Advanced Enterprise Level Networking certifications
- Comprehensive expertise in wireless and fiber broadband network technologies
- Proven leadership skills and experience in complex network environments
- Experience with vendor management and vendor software upgrade procedures
