In this role, you will collaborate with teams within and outside of Trust and Safety. You will partner with the Engineering, Product, Legal, Policy, and Scaled Operation teams to drive operational performance and lower abuse rates. You will enable effectiveness and efficiency by driving intent and execution excellence to deliver cross-functional initiatives at scale. You will be responsible for reducing policy violating activity across all Search, Google Assistant and Geo products and policies. You will also enable the deployment of defenses to stop abuse, and lead process improvement efforts to improve speed and quality of response to abuse. You will identify platform needs/influence enforcement capability design and enable professional/career success for your team.At Google we work hard to earn our users' trust every day. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- 5 years of experience in managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field.
- 5 years of experience with SQL, R, Python or C .
- 5 years of experience with machine learning systems.
- Experience in using statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and thinking skills with attention to detail in a changing environment

Responsibilities
- Help to establish metrics to benchmark Generative-AI issues and quantify improvements.
- Develop datasets and run evaluations for engineers to evaluate and improve Search, Labs and Assistant products. Perform data analysis to deliver insights that help identify and fight abuse across our products.
- Manage projects against crashed timelines. Use technical judgment to drive project delivery, tests proposals and identify risks.
- Analyze and debug escalations and identify trends that can indicate bigger product risks. Enhance our operational workflows by process improvements and identification of automation opportunities. Improve tools through data analysis, technical expertise, and presentations to stakeholders.
- Perform on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis, including weekend coverage. Works with sensitive content or situations which can be exposed to graphic, controversial or upsetting topics or content.
