We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager with a passion for delivering well-designed, scalable, and reliable software for large-scale projects. As part of this role, you will collaborate closely with multiple teams across Microsoft to deliver key customer solutions and the technology to support them. Responsibilities:
Lead a team of other Software Engineers to develop products and services that
meet the needs of our customers and partners.
Provide technical leadership, project management, mentorship, and guidance to
the team.
Develop team culture as a diverse, inclusive & collaborative environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and other engineering
managers for a deep shared understanding of functional and technical
requirements.
Lead product development with focus on technical accuracy, quality, usability &
performance leveraging data for making decisions.
Ensures a clear and articulated plan for testing and assuring quality solutions.
Identifies and drives best practices to reliably build code based on well-established
methods.
Ensure the correct processes are followed to achieve a high degree of security,
privacy, safety, and accessibility.
Participate in recruiting activities for the organization.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Proficient technical skills including understanding of object-oriented programming
& design

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience with distributed systems and cloud technology such as Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- OR related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript,
- OR Python
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years people management experience.
- Proficiency in computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
