Summary:
Candidates must have experience managing complex environmental assessment and remediation projects under various regulatory programs including Superfund, RCRA, TSCA, and state regulatory programs. This candidate should have a strong business development acumen, including the ability to identify proposal opportunities and lead development of winning proposals. This candidate should have a solid reputation for technical leadership as demonstrated through external visibility efforts (publications, presentations); and the ability to maintain/build key client relationships.

Hours and shift: Monday - Friday (7AM-4PM) OR (8AM-5PM); can be flexible
Work from home: Hybrid (after they have gotten settled in)
Working remote: No
Overtime expected: No
Travel: occasional to job sites
Work attire: Business Casual

Responsibilities:
- Lead environmental technical teams to deliver high quality work on Environmental Assessment and Remediation projects with an emphasis on the Great Lakes Area
- Coordinate with Client Development Leaders and Key and Focus Account Leads to support and execute proposal and project opportunities
- Collaborate with Environmental Assessment and Remediation National Practice Leader along with the Environmental Assessment and Remediation Area Practice Leaders to support wide proposal opportunities
- Support Environmental Assessment and Remediation National Practice Leader to adopt and implement innovative site assessment practices and remediation technologies
- Prepare proposals and manage technical projects, including RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA and/or Ohio EPA VAP programs, with the goal of producing high-level technical quality deliverables, maintaining client satisfaction, and maximizing project profitability
- Possess detailed knowledge of regulations in the area of practice
- Motivate and encourage others and help the team achieve success
- Collaborate across multiple disciplines and with clients to articulate and achieve project goals
Required:
- Minimum four-year (accredited) college degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or other related technical discipline
- 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE)and/or Professional Geologist (PG) or other similar licensure with the ability to get reciprocal licenses within Great Lakes geography
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Must be able to pass a background check
