Senior Estimator - Commercial/Municipal GC

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team as a key member of our Commercial General Contracting division. The position is responsible for ensuring that all estimates and proposals are accurate, competitive, and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle estimating process from initial client contact to final proposal submission
• Develop complete and accurate estimates using industry-standard software and tools
• Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to ensure accuracy of project estimates and timelines
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure successful bid submissions
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of market trends, project specifications, and client needs
• Provide guidance and support to junior estimators and other team members as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 5+ years experience in commercial general contracting, including cost management, budgeting, and estimating preferred
• 5+ years experience within municipal bidding preferred
• Expertise in the use of Bluebeam or other industry-standard estimating software
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction materials and methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
