Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Salary Range: ~ +/- $100,000-$120,000/year (Negotiable, DOE)
Term: Direct Hire

Job Summary:
An established leader in industrial automation and control solutions is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team. This position involves preparing comprehensive material quotes, labor estimates, and direct costs for O&G Midstream projects. The role requires analyzing drawings, specifications, RFPs, and proposals to ensure accurate project planning and competitive bidding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess preconstruction plans, specifications, and RFPs
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and services based on project requirements
- Use advanced estimating tools and update pricing databases with current quotes
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to refine and resolve estimate-related issues
- Participate in pre-bid site visits and job meetings to validate labor and material requirements
- Analyze completed projects to compare estimates with actual costs, identifying areas for improvement
- Generate change order estimates promptly, often within one business day
- Recommend process enhancements to improve estimating accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with O&G Midstream Control Systems, including pipeline transportation, storage, and processing facilities
- Strong understanding of both gas and liquid operations
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
- Ability to perform P&ID take-offs for process and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of PLC and/or DCS systems and Instrumentation and Control Valve products
- Experience developing estimates from 30%, 60%, and 90% design stages
- Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and pdf tools (eg, Bluebeam, Adobe)
- Engineering degree or equivalent relevant work experience
