We're seeking a seasoned and polished Senior Executive Recruiter to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in identifying and attracting top-tier engineering executives (Principal, Director, VP & C-Suite) who will drive our strategic goals and company vision. As a valued member of the ETA Team, the Senior Executive Recruiter will serve as an expert in executive search, overseeing all aspects of research, candidate generation and development, senior client management, complex offer negotiations, and executive onboarding for their portfolio of searches. This role requires a deep understanding of the engineering landscape, exceptional networking skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced recruiting process ensuring we find and attract the best executive-level talent on the planet. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Partner and build collaborative relationships with engineering leaders to deeply understand their hiring needs, strategic objectives and how those fit within the broader organization's current and future hiring needs
  • Drive the development and delivery of market research relative to short & long-term hiring needs. Make opportunistics introductions to key leaders in support of high-impact roles
  • Deliver executive recruiting communication including search presentation materials, job descriptions, candidate profiles, interviewer/stakeholder communication, and candidate preparation to attract a diverse, qualified pool of executive candidates
  • Develop and implement comprehensive and inclusive recruitment strategies to identify and engage with passive and active candidates through various channels (referral programs, executive events, sourcing campaigns)
  • Source and screen qualified internal and external candidates, effectively articulating Cruise's employer brand and value proposition
  • Provide an exceptional, high-touch candidate experience throughout the candidate journey
  • Partner with executive sourcers and executive recruiting coordinators to manage an efficient search process
  • Proactively track and analyze effectiveness of pipeline activity, reporting metrics, and talent trends to identify areas of improvement and provide data-inspired recommendations to help guide decision-making related to sourcing strategies and goals
  • Lead the offer process in collaboration with internal stakeholders (HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, TA Operations); negotiate and close executive candidates
  • Contribute to the operational excellence of the team through the leadership of strategic projects
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion through every aspect of the hiring journey
  • Collaborate and partner across the broader talent acquisition team and serve as a mentor for others

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in recruiting with a minimum of 4 years focused on executive-level roles.
  • Prior experience working in both within an executive in both search firm and high-growth tech environments
  • Deep knowledge of the engineering function; experience working with Engineering teams and hiring for highly technical executive roles
  • Track record of success sourcing and recruiting at the Vice President-level and above
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to balance conflicting priorities (ie: quick turnaround requests versus longer-term projects and/or strategic efforts)
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to fast-paced work environment
  • Strong accountability for achieving individual and team performance
  • Proven track record of maintaining strong, interpersonal relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates
  • Experience partnering with Vice President and C-Suite hiring managers to meet hiring goals
  • Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

The salary range for this position is $147,300 - $216,600. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, long-term incentives, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
