ECS is seeking a Senior Analytical Methodologist:

* This position is a contingency upon contract award.

** Requires a Letter of Intent.

*** Requires final acceptance by the government customer.

**** Validation of required clearances upon acceptance and approval from a cognizant government contracting officer. After customer indoctrination, the candidate will be submitted for a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

This position requires knowledge and understanding of GEOINT Analytic Workflow Modernization (AWM), mathematical and statistical modeling, structured analysis techniques, sound appropriate scientific methods, Activity Based Intelligence, Structured Observation Management, and Object-Based Production within the analytical workforce and the ability to enable and accelerate the adoption of improved analytical processes. The position requires knowledge and expertise in advanced analytic modeling and modeling for tipping and queuing collection against required target sets. The position will develop strategies for data-centric research methods and automate existing workflows through modeling and scripting in support of the analytical workforce.

Duties:
  • Apply multi-disciplinary mathematical and statistical models via programming language to large data sets to extract patterns, relationships, and anticipatory behavioral probability that is not seen through traditional single disciplinary intelligence analysis.
  • Apply mathematical techniques to solve complex problems and develop quantitative based assessments.
  • Answer intelligence questions by using knowledge of advanced analytic methodologies and experience in implementing and executing methodologies.
  • Apply scientifically based approaches to help solve complex problems and issues including:
    • statistical data analysis
    • knowledge discovery
    • mathematical modeling
  • Collaborate with customers and contractor personnel to provide accurate multi-disciplinary analytical information to assist in solving problem sets.
  • Provide support to exploitation, intelligence analysis, and product development to include statistical and trend analysis, data manipulation and format conversion, data collection, query across various systems and databases.
  • Must be able to query from across various NSG systems, provide data formatting for visualization and presentation, and be capable of conducting data entry form development and database design.
  • Provide database consultation, graphical data visualizations, and recommendations for quantitative data selection and collection.
  • Interact with analysts, mission partners, and other contractors on analytical functionality and exploitation and related support tools.
  • Work with minimal guidance in a high-tempo, high-stress environment, and be fully capable of meeting most analytic methodology services without constant direction and guidance.
  • Track customer satisfaction with analytical problem sets.


  • US Citizenship required per contract.
  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ yrs on the job experience.
  • Must have an active/current TS/SCI minimum clearance and the ability to obtain/maintain a counterintelligence polygraph.
  • The candidate must have a GEOINT Professional Certification - Fundamentals (GPC-F).
  • Must be an experienced Analytical Methodologist with imagery exploitation, intelligence analysis, and production expertise.
  • Must be capable of conducting trend analysis.
  • Must be capable of implementing and executing analytical methodologies.
  • Must have expertise in developing data-centric research methods and automating existing workflows.
  • Must have expertise within the NSG Analytic Workflow Modernization.
  • Must have expertise within Activity Based Intelligence.
  • Must have expertise working within Structured Observation Management.
  • Must have expertise in Object-Based Production within the analytical workforce.
  • Must have experience in advanced analytic modeling.
  • Must have expertise in modeling for tipping and queuing collection.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to confront difficult problems in a positive and creative way.
  • Ability to balance multiple, competing priorities and execute accordingly.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
