Summary: The Senior Facilities Analyst will collaborate closely with the procurement and operations teams to identify and analyze data to support cost-saving opportunities within the facilities vertical. This role supports an annual spend of $130 million across various categories, including preventative maintenance, equipment, janitorial services, landscaping, plumbing, snow removal, and HVAC. The analyst will develop strategies to optimize expenditures while ensuring service quality and operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost reductions in facilities-related services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Operations & Execution
  • Gather data from various sources ensuring data quality by cleaning, transforming, and organizing it for analysis
  • Analyze spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Create clear and compelling visualizations to present findings and insights to stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements and company standards.
  • Identify gaps in service coverage, vendor performance, and operational processes to improve cost efficiency and service delivery.

Training & Development
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures related to facilities procurement and maintenance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of cost-consciousness and operational excellence within the team.

Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, facilities management, or a related area.

Preferred:
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM).
  • Experience in the retail or restaurant industry.


Work Environment/Physical Demands: General office environment where you will walk, bend, and stand for periods of time.
