Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in an office/lab environment; adheres to required safety and dress standards to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate, talk, and listen. May be required to sit, stand, walk for periods of time; bend, stoop, and twist using full range of motion; perform various repetitive fine grasping motions; uses a variety of small hand tools to perform various operations when required; lift 25 to 50 pounds, operate a computer and enter information using a keyboard, operate a telephone, and other office equipment for an extended period of time. As some visual inspection duties will also be required, specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Some physical strength and stamina are required for regular cleaning duties. May be exposed to hot/cold conditions, high-volume noise, exposure to stored energy hazards (electricity, compressed gases, etc.), and/or hazardous materials such as chemicals (e.g. alcohol, acetone, acids, solvents and photo resist) or particulate matter.
May be requested to work overtime and weekends to suit operational needs.

Essential Responsibilities
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on equipment in production areas
- Troubleshoot PLC hardware and software Issues
- Diagnose, analyze and repair electromechanical and instrumentation equipment using meters, gauges and other testing methods
- Apply knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic devices and principles to install, repair, and/or replace defective equipment
- Assist supervisor in writing and updating standard maintenance procedures and work instructions. Verify accuracy of work instructions in assigned areas and suggest changes to supervisor/team leader
- Prepares work areas to ensure tools needed are available and in proper working order
- Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems while demonstrating proactive maintenance concepts and employes best practice.
- Complete/perform PM assignments and documentation as scheduled
- Effectively communicate with Team Leaders and Supervisors regarding safety/quality/production concerns
- Identify need of replacement or of new equipment and inform supervisor
- Provide engineers necessary information for continuous improvement strategies and assist supervisor in writing and updating standard preventive maintenance procedures and work instructions
- Be cooperative with co-workers to maintain a good working environment
Job Experience/Requirements
- Completion of high school/GED, supplemented with course work and/or certifications in the electrical and/or mechanical trades
- 10 years of related experience in facilities
- Able to read electrical schematics and drawings
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
- Must be approachable and effective with ability to influence change across all levels of the organization in an effective manner
- Detail oriented with good follow-up
- Proficient in Word Office Suite, and generating reports off of computer systems
- Strong leadership skills, works well with co-workers and staff, and is a positive influence with all team members
- Excellent coaching and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people
- Able to work in a dynamic environment with constant change
- Able to prioritize job flows, schedule and manage time efficiently
- Strong problem solving and multi-tasking abilities required
- Assertive and collaborative self-starter who can coach and organize the staff and hold them accountable

Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certified is a plus
- Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment
- OSHA general industry training certification
- Ability to understand 220-volt, 277-volt, and 480-volt Electrical Systems
- HVAC and/or Electrical certification is a plus
- Facilities team management experience is a plus
